Shrink-flation struck our sushi spot, specifically the Rainbow Roll. Picture a nori rice roll inverted. The insides stacked with shrimp, grilled eel, cucumber, tamago, and maybe dressed in lobster sauce (I’d like to imagine!). The exterior, like bondage, wrapped in thin slices of salmon, tuna, and white fish. Then in between each sashimi was a slice of avocado peeking through, adding a tinge of grassy green and buttery yellow to the colorful wrappings. Finally, the roll was topped with salmon roe and bonito flakes, making each piece a mouthful of delectable goodness! Might just be our luck getting the final order since the piece fitted perfectly in a single bite.
3 years since we visited this phở place with another vegetarian, t. Our resident friendly giant, p (now back at Graz), would be attached to one restaurant and one dish only until venturing out for another that served more cabbage. He’d soon discover the existence of vegetarian hot pot buffets that had mala options too.
Tried a new spot that served sour and spicy Sichuan noodles and pepper cold chicken. The owner was filled with humility when explaining the menu and the sweet reminders on the wall. We’ll be coming back!
Walked to Gusto Pizza and ordered the Dennis Supreme that had minced beef, jalapeños, sun-dried tomatoes, and mozzarella. A couple fond memories were made here when we lived around the corner, one being my first calzone on our second/ third date.
I remembered to add cheese (Rosemary Asiago) to my pesto!
We had McDonald’s just to blend in and lock in yet we were so wrong.
d’s baked ribbon fish was a success, emptying the month long sour cream, half an onion, provence seasoning, garlic
Happenings
A small win for the Innie upon receiving new gains in her pocket.
Went to d’s office 3-days in a row at 6 o’clock for t to finally realize mine is right across from theirs.
I admit that focusing for hours on end isn’t as easy, so I’m creating a list of locations that foster the environment I need.
I’m at that age when a gel is required for boosting my supposedly casual 10k training.
During our walks, d ranted, then quoted Steve Jobs: The best managers decide they have to be managers because no one else is going to be able to do as good a job as them. The rest remains at that time and space until approval for release.
Love me some tea on friends’ exs whether involving the friend or not (oops!)

Spent an hour with g formulating a SQL revision based off r’s overly simplistic logic, just so r could respond 2hrs later with filters (ones I wasn’t even told of) after just prompting 10 min with g. “Mine is quite stupid too, ha ha ha..” When requesting fixes to engineers, it’s the effort in trying that counts.

Nick Fuentes Interview (Ft. Hunter Biden) Just refreshing! America needs more conversations like these, less divisive and radical commentary, more talks finding common grounds.
