Wow, I’m considered the older generations… Truth be told, Mom, gran and I used to rewatched Devil Wears Prada after dinner when I stayed over in the summer. And somehow I’d always thought Mom was into Sex and City back in the days.

We have to look past the superficial suffering. Often Alex and her guests struggles aren’t comparable to us in any level. What most are getting out are background noise and perhaps 5sec of encouragement. And not to devalue sharing personal experiences, but we need to be out there living life rather than tuning in to others. We need actual self-realization.
There’s limited time for podcasts, and I prioritize ones that keep me informed for my next move. I’ve spent the past decade learning my emotional patterns, tendencies, and coming to self-preservation. Call Her Daddy played a role in that chapter, but it’s time to move forward.
