Almut: I don’t think I’ve ever had the pleasure of sleeping with an invalid before.

Tobias: I suppose I’m a bit, um, out of practice. I’m also just suddenly aware I… I don’t, I don’t have any kind of prophylactic on me.

Almut: Such low expectations.

Two English actors playing Brits? I love it.

I need more rom coms from Florence Pugh.

Almut: What’s the rush?

Tobias: Because I’m worried that there’s a very distinct and real possibility that I am about to fall in love with you.

Yelppppp Someone reenact this to me.

This scene reminds me of

After their meet-cute at the hospital (aside from the crash itself), Almut is having her smoothie and asks Tobias, in neck brace, what he does for a living. He answers, “Weetabix sales” and she casually responds being a chef and preparing to open a anglo-bavarian restaurant.

This introductory exchange is similar to the final scene in The Drama (2026), where Charlie sits with a beaten-up face while Emma (re)introduces herself rather than accept the apology. Both female leads play the chill and calm partner.

I jotted some thoughts on this film here.
